I walked in just for a coffee and left wanting to return soon. The food evokes fond memories, and the attentive, caring service creates such a welcoming atmosphere — together, they make this place incredibly unique!

The place is a bit jaded and tired, but then, so am I. I didn't eat, so I can not say. I liked the coffee and it is well on a par with what is available around the town. The place is nice, it's oaky. It will do

Patrick was an absolute dote to talk to, plus I had good coffee and honestly one of the best starberry tarts in my life. It's a really underrated place as Id say its better in what it has to offer than other places on town.

I love my local coffee shop! Lucy has the best locally roasted coffees and is so wise and sage like. Lunches are always amazing and my kids adore her pancakes, hot chocolate and witty dialogue...The green sheep is more an institution than a café!!!

Lucy is an amazing cook and amazing painter! Had a delicious brisket sandwich. Lucy is lovely and creates a friendly atmosphere. Then I picked up an awesome horse painting too!

Best coffee & food.. Lovely place to go for a full lunch, a light snack or some cake. Great to go with friends, or even on your own as there’s always someone interesting to talk to - especially Lucy!! Always excellent conversations and coffee

Just love this quaint cafe, I always make a point of stopping there to sample the scrumptious food and fantastic coffee if I am near Thurles. The owner, Lucy, is always soooo welcoming, chatty and smiley. A must visit if you are in Tipperary!

Doesn’t look much from outside but very tasty food. Friendly owner who went out of his way to make up a yummy gluten free veggie option plus the 3 cheese pickle and caramelised onion toasted sambo was also great. I would recommend
